2006 Season (San Francisco): Played in 10 games, scoring 34 goals while recording 24 assists. Picked up 6 groundballs on his way to being named Warrior Offensive Player of the Year and Bud Light MVP. Powell is first MLL player to gain both honors in the same season, and is the first to win multiple MVP awards (also MVP in 2001). Against the Denver Outlaws on 6/10 scored 9 goals with three assists for 12 points total. Notched 10 points (5 - 5) against Chicago on 7/08. Scored game-winning goal in overtime on 7/01 against New Jersey (4-4--8). Was named Warrior Offensive Player of the week twice in 2006.
2005 Season (Rochester): Played in 8 games scoring 21 goals and adding 15 assists while recording 11 groundballs.
College: Was selected as a 1st Team All American three times (1998, 1999, 2000) and also winner of the Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award as the Division I National Player of the Year and the Lt. Col. Jack Turnbull Award as the Division I National Attackman of the Year as a senior in 2000 after scoring 66 goals and adding 30 assists. Was an Honorable Mention All-American selection as a freshman in 1997. In his four seasons at Syracuse, Powell's teams compiled an overall record of 49-12 and he was selected to the NCAA All Tournament Team in 1998, 1999, and 2000.
