Allen blows out Missouri, 7-3

The Allen Americans had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-3 win over the Missouri Mavericks.
The win by Allen clinched the best of seven series at 4-3.
Todd Robinson had a great game for the Americans, netting two goals. Robinson scored on the power play at 18:40 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Allen and again while 5:28 into the third to make the score 5-2 Allen.
Allen kept Missouri's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mike Clemente made 24 saves on 31 shots.
Allen also got points from Jason Deitsch, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Allen included Brian McMillin, who had two and Kale Kerbashian and Jim McKenzie, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Allen were Mike Berube, Trevor Hendrikx, Corbin Baldwin, Trevor Ludwig, and Jarret Lukin, who each chipped in one and Tyler Ludwig and Jamie Schaafsma, who contributed two a piece.
The Americans were unable to stop the Mavericks from sending pucks towards the net, and Missouri eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.
The Mavericks were led by Kellen Tochkin, who registered one goal and one assist. Tochkin scored 5:37 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Allen. Kenton Miller picked up the assist. Missouri also got a goal from Dave Pszenyczny as well. In addition, Missouri received assists from Kyle Hood, who had two and J.P. Testwuide and Ryan Jardine, who each chipped in one.
Allen's Aaron Dell stopped 29 shots out of the 32 that he faced. The Americans incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Missouri incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
