Denver downs Rapid City in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

The Denver Cutthroats pulled out a 6-5 (OT) overtime victory over Rapid City on a clutch goal by A.J. Gale.
Gale was all over the ice for Denver, as he racked up four goals in the win. Gale got on the scoresheet 1:43 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:02 into the second, at 18:56 into the second, and at 1:30 into the fourth.
The Cutthroats racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with five minors and two majors for 20 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 17.0 minutes per game Denver had been spending in the box. The Cutthroats bested their season scoring average.
