Arizona downs Fort Worth, 2-1
Story by Narrative Science.
Kevin Baker registered one point to lead the Arizona Sundogs to a 2-1 victory over the Fort Worth Brahmas.
Arizona's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Fort Worth power plays. The Sundogs relied on a core group of players for most of their offense, as Baker, Kirill Tulupov and Chad Nehring took 10 of the team's 19 shots. Arizona's offense was helped by the efforts of its defensemen, who managed to put eight shots on net during the game.
Adam Russo rejected 14 shots on goal for the Sundogs. Arizona incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Kristofer Westblom recorded 17 saves for the Brahmas. Fort Worth incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
