Rapid City hangs on, beats Arizona 4-2

Rapid City beat the Arizona Sundogs, 4-2, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.Rapid City took over the lead for good with a goal by Kyle Peto at 5:24 in the first period. Jeff Lee provided the assist.
Jesse Schultz had a great game for Rapid City, netting two goals. Schultz's tallies came at 6:53 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Rapid City and 19:48 into the third to make the score 4-2 Rapid City.
Rapid City's defensemen were a huge part of the offense, scoring two goals and taking 13 shots. With 31 shots on target during the contest, Rapid City exceeded the 25.7 shots it averages per game this year.
