The Americans failed to reach their usual level of shot production, putting 17 pucks on goal after averaging 21.5 shots per game this season. Allen did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Americans average 3.4 goals per game.
David Brown rejected 16 shots on goal for Arizona. The Sundogs registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Steve Silverthorn recorded 23 saves for the Americans. Allen totaled 52 minutes in penalty time with one minor and four majors and went 0-for-4 on the power play. For the Americans, Ryley Grantham and Jason Deitsch were ejected from the contest.
