Arizona downs Allen in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Arizona Sundogs pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Allen Americans on a clutch goal by Kevin Petovello.
Arizona was led by Petovello, who finished with one goal. Petovello scored 1:43 into overtime to make the score 4-3 Arizona. Matt Register assisted on the tally.
In the losing effort, Allen was paced by Darryl Bootland, who tallied two goals. Bootland scored the first of his two goals at 17:01 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Arizona. Mike Berube provided the assist. Bootland's next tally made the score 2-2 with 13:40 left in the second period. Brett Skinner assisted on the tally.
The Sundogs' offense rang up 42 shots on the Americans' net.
Arizona additionally got points from Jeff Kyrzakos, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Chad Langlais also scored for Arizona.
