Wichita downs Fort Worth, 4-0

Matt Summers racked up one point to lead the Wichita Thunder to a 4-0 victory over the Fort Worth Brahmas.
Wichita stifled Fort Worth's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Thunder featured an improved defense during the game. Wichita gives up 2.5 goals on average per game. The Thunder forced the Brahmas goalie Kristofer Westblom to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.
Wichita also got points from Todd Griffith, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ryan Flanigan also scored for Wichita. More assists for Wichita came via Gregor Hanson, Erick Lizon, Travis Wight, Kevin Young, Nathan Lutz, Torrie Jung, and Andrew Martens, who each chipped in one.
Fort Worth's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Wichita power plays. The Brahmas' offense operated below they season average.
