Fort Worth rips Quad City, 5-0

The Fort Worth Brahmas were firing on all cylinders against the Quad City Mallards, and when the final buzzer sounded Brahmas emerged with a 5-0 win.
Fort Worth was sparked by Tomas Klempa, who registered one goal and one assist. Klempa scored 2:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Fort Worth. Phil Fox provided the assist.
The Brahmas bested their season scoring average. Fort Worth has scored at the pace of 2.5 goals per game during the current campaign.
Fort Worth also got points from Sy Nutkevitch, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Adam Hogg, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brendon Hodge also scored for Fort Worth. Other players who recorded assists for Fort Worth were Shawn Szydlowski, Riley Boychuk, and Derrick Pallis, who each chipped in one.
Quad City racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and two majors for 22 minutes in penalty time. The Mallards had been averaging 17.0 minutes in penalties per game.
