Brandon is a player who possesses both the physical tools and the required skills to be an effective defenseman at the next level.  He shows a high level of confidence and composure when competing, and is a smooth, powerful skater with an exceptional stride.  He has terrific on-ice vision, displays good mobility, and has better than average quickness while possessing a pro-like shot.  He makes precise first passes out of the zone, and when he does decide to carry the puck, he displays good puck skills and the ability to beat defenders.  He maintains defensive positioning effectively, and his over-all play shows he has a real understanding and passion for the game.  He's very coachable and is a leader on and off the ice.   

Brandon is a senior at Walled Lake Northern High School where he is an honor student (3.6 GPA) with advance placement classes in Environmental Science, French, Biology and Chemistry.  He has lettered in Lacrosse and In-Line Hockey.  His outside activities include building, golf, guitar and wakeboarding.  Brandon volunteers his time teaching hockey to mentally and physically handicapped children thought the “Skate to Be Great” program.  He also has been involved with Special Olympics and Sports Around Town’s summer programs. 

Brandon’s goals are to play Junior A hockey for a year or two then to play collegiate hockey at a Division 1 university where he plans to studying medicine or construction management.  Brandon also hopes to someday have the opportunity to represent the United States as a member of the Olympic hockey team.                              Email:  DLubin@LSGIP.Com
