Tulsa boosted by Madolora's play in net, beats Rapid City 2-1

Shane Madolora had a standout game with 37 saves, and the Tulsa Oilers beat Rapid City 2-1.

Tulsa was sparked by Chapen Leblond, who tallied one goal. Leblond scored 16:00 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Tulsa. Drew Fisher picked up the assist.

The Oilers stifled Rapid City's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Kyle Bochek also scored for Tulsa. More assists for Tulsa came via Blair Macaulay, Craig Cescon, and Michel Beausoleil, who each chipped in one.

Rapid City did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Rapid City averages 3.4 goals per game. Rapid City's offense rang up 38 shots on Tulsa's net.

Rapid City was led by Kyle Stroh, who scored the team's only goal. Stroh scored 2:29 into the third period to make the score 2-2.

The Oilers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tim Boron recorded 22 saves for Rapid City. Rapid City incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
