Gerardo Verastegui returns to El Paso for his second season as bench coach for the Diablos.  Verastegui began his professional baseball career in 2006 when he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves, whom he stayed with until signing with the Golden and Frontier leagues in 2008.  The catcher joined the Diablos in 2009 with a .278 batting average.  In his four seasons as a professional, Verastegui amassed career statistics of .260/.351/.306 with 63 runs, 153 hits, 27 doubles, and 66 RBIs in 191 games.
