Lefty Mike Bacsik, Jr. pitched for four MLB teams, including the Texas Rangers, from 2001-2007 and notched ten major league victories. He was originally drafted by Cleveland in 1996 in the 18th round of the MLB draft. Bacsik is often remembered as the pitcher that gave up Bonds’ 756th career home run, which broke the mark of Aaron, on August 7th, 2007 as a member of the Washington Nationals. His father, Mike Bacsik, Sr, is in his first season as the pitching coach for the Cats.
