Joining the Fielders for his first season as Field Manager, Tim (T.J.) Johnson is a former MLB shortstop and manager.  After originally signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1967, Johnson was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers following the 1972 season.  Johnson spent 6 seasons with the Brewers before being traded to the Toronto Blue Jays during the 1978 season.  After retiring as a player in 1979, Johnson spent 20 years as a coach, scout, and a minor league manager for the Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox, and Chicago Cubs.  In 1998 Johnson was named as the manager of the Toronto Blue Jays.  Since leaving the Blue Jays he has spent time managing in the Mexican, Northern, Golden, and now North American leagues.
