The University of Toledo product was 1st-team All-MAC as an outfielder in 2013 with a team best .357 batting average, 20 RBI, a team best 62 runs scored and a school-record 36 stolen bases. As a senior this Spring, he stole 26 bases and finished with a .384 on-base percentage. Grogg was on the Dean’s List in three of his last eight college semesters. At Springfield H.S. in Ohio, he finished with a school-record .678 on-base percentage as a senior and was a three-year letter winner in baseball and football.
