Veteran hitting coach, Pete LaCock, was a first round pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 1970 draft. During his nine year career he was a first baseman/outfielder for the Cubs and the Kansas City Royals. He joins the Fielders in his first year as hitting coach, having previous managerial experience with the Lincoln Saltdogs, Tucson Toros, and the Schaumburg Flyers.
