Schweitzer, who has played ten minor league seasons, comes to the Fielders from the South Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League. Schweitzer appeared in 64 games out of the bullpen for South Maryland last season, compiling a 5-0 record and a 2.37 ERA. Coming into the 2010 season, he has posted a career record of 46-31 with a 3.19 ERA in 418 games, finishing 132 of them and grabbing 32 saves.
