Ryan Boelsen joins Tim Stringer as one of only two returning Skyhawks this season. He began his professional career last year, playing in 21 games and recording 11 hits. The 23-year-old catcher was born and raised in Garden City, N.Y., where he still resides today. Boelsen attended Adelphi University, where he played college baseball for three years.
