#38 Mike McGuire - Player Profile

Mike McGuire was born in Newark, Del. but attended high school in Folson, Penn.  He later returned to the state where he was born to attend the University of Delaware. In his four years at Delaware, McGuire finished with a combined record of 16-12 and averaged 55.9 innings pitched per season. He was drafted out of college in the 43rd round of the 2008 amateur entry draft by the Cleveland Indians.  He comes to the Skyhawks after spending two seasons in the Indians’ minor league system, most recently with the Kinston Indians.
