Justin Dignelli, a native of Mount Kisco, N.Y., is one of five rookies on this season’s roster. He was drafted out of George Washington University in the 34th round of the 2009 amateur entry draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Before coming to Sussex, he pitched just 14 innings for the AZL Dodgers of the Arizona League. In that stint, Dignelli allowed one homerun and notched 18 strikeouts.
