The Longueuil, Qc native joins a professional baseball team for his 11th season, as he started his pro career in 1998. He underwent a Tommy John surgery in 2002 and a hip injury last season. In 2001, he threw 6 complete innings for in major league baseball as his team, the Anaheim Angels, were facing the Oakland A’s. He had an excellent start, giving up only four runs and struck out four batters while he kept his opponents to a .190 batting average. Used as a starter in his early career, he has been a reliever for the past 2004. He went 51-61 and kept a 4.71 ERA in his professional baseball career so far. He joins the Capitales in 2010 to be number two in the starters’ rotation.
