Originally a 10th Round draft pick out of high school, Billingslea comes to the Tornadoes after two years away from the sport. He spent two seasons at rookie ball for the Mets before moving onto Independent League Baseball for the 2007 season. In a total of 3 Minor League Seasons, Billingslea has totaled 11 home runs.
