The Torrington, Wyo., native produced for Wayne State this spring, boasting an earned run average of below three for much of the season. He finished 5-4 with a 3.69 ERA in 63.1 innings. Last spring he was the Wildcats No. 2 starter and posted an 8-2 record with a 5.50 ERA; he was a perfect 5-0 NSIC play. In high school Wisroth played football, baseball, basketball and soccer. He earned All-State honors in football in 2006 and 2007. Last summer Wisroth pitched for the Cheyenne Grizzlies of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League. In five appearances, all starts, the right-hander was 2-1 with a 1.85 earned run average. He struck out 16 and walked just three in 24.1 innings.
