Krause is in his second professional season after playing for the Victoria Seals and manager Darrell Evans last year. He hit .169 in 24 games and stole four bases. Krause played at the University of Portland from 2004-2008 in the West Coast Conference. He comes from a baseball family – his father, Steve, worked for the Seattle Mariners in the 1980’s.
