The Outlaws welcome back fan favorite Bobby Hill to the roster for his second season with the team. Hill was selected in the second round of the Rule 4 Draft by the Chicago Cubs out of Miami University. Hill got called up to the show on September 7th, 2002. He called Wrigley Field his home for parts of two seasons with the Cubs until he was traded to the Pirates for Aramis Ramirez and Kenny Loften in August of 2003. After his time in the big leagues, Hill took his career to the Independent Leagues. Last season with the Outlaws, Hill hit .307 batting second in the lineup. Hill’s experience and defense in the infield were instrumental to last season’s Championship season for the Outlaws, and he will look to do more of the same this year to capture the new league’s first trophy.
