The Tucson Toros drafted Outfielder Sho Konishi out of the 2010 Arizona Winter League, a premier winter instructional league for professional and aspiring professional baseball players that took place in Yuma in January and February. Konishi will be making his stateside profession debut with the Toros after previously playing in Japan. Konishi hit .432 in the AWL and ranked top 10 in numerous categories including batting average, hits, doubles, home runs and stolen bases.
