Catcher Mike Valadez is a new face to the organization who will man the plate along with Luis Apodaca. Valadez has spent the last three season’s in the Cleveland Indians organization reaching as high as Single-A with the Lake County Captains in 2009 where belted a career high 4 home runs in 52 games. The Indians originally selected Valadez in the 26th Round of the 2007 Amateur Draft out of Lee University in Cleveland, TN, the same alma mater as fellow Toro Brian Bistagne.
