#28 Lonnie Patterson - Player Profile

Righthanded Pitcher Lonnie Patterson joins the Tucson Toros after spending the last three seasons in the Northern League, pitching for both the Joliet Jackhammers and the Schaumburg Flyers.  He appeared in four games for Schaumburg in 2009, posting a 1.59 ERA out of the pen.  The Chicago, IL native was originally drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 46th Round of the 2001 Amateur Draft out of Harlan H.S, 16 picks ahead of Perfect Game hurler Dallas Braden.  He went on to attend Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City, MO and Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.
