Furrow has pitched in independent baseball each of the past two seasons, but hasn’t accumulated enough innings yet to forfeit his rookie status. The Australian-born lefty has yet to lose a professional game. He began his pro career in 2008 with McKinney in the Continental League, where he posted a 1.76 ERA over seven appearances before moving on to a brief three-game stint with St. George in the Golden League. Donald returned to the Continental League in 2009, but made just four appearances for Coastal, a traveling team in the league. Lincoln signed Furrow in February, and he’ll have a chance to compete for a bullpen spot.
