Medina has played one season of professional baseball thus far in his career. In 2009, Medina was a member of the Cubs from the GCL. Through 30 games with the Cubs, Medina had a .266 batting average, a .309 slugging percentage, and 17 RBIs. In addition to playing catcher, Medina has spent time in his career at first and second base. The Diablos are excited to add this versatile weapon to the 2010 club.
