Kevin Quaranto is a first baseman, catcher and designated hitter from Siena College. A native of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Kevin had an outstanding 2010 season in which he batted .413 with 24 doubles, 3 triples, 12 homeruns, 54 RBIs, 9 SBs, and recorded an OBP of .508. This comes after a year in which he was named to the All-MAAC First Team following a 2009 season where he hit .341 with 7 homeruns and 40 runs batted in. His 16 doubles and 37 walks led his team, while his .475 on base percentage was second and his .551 slugging percentage was third. As a true freshman in 2008 Kevin appeared in 48 games, batting .317 with 2 homeruns and 23 runs batted in and was second on the team with 14 doubles. For his efforts that season he was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team. In high school, while lettering 4 times in baseball, he lettered three times in both hockey and football and helped St. John’s High School’s football team win the Division 1 Super Bowl Championship three times.
