Nick Bartolone joins several Butler Bulldogs who will play at Oil City Stadium for Northwest Indiana this summer, having just completed his freshman season.
The Lafayette native saw action in 22 games for Butler, batting .270 in 37 at-bats, ranking 3rd on the team. Of his 10 hits on the season, three were doubles and one was a home run. He drove in a career-high three runs against Wabash College, and had three multi-hit games as well.
At Harrison High School, he set school records for putouts and chances in the outfield, and was all-conference in his sophomore and junior seasons while leading the team in batting. He also played football in high school, setting school records for passing touchdowns and PAT's in a single game while playing quarterback and kicker.
