A 2012 graduate of Hudsonville High School, Baar was a three-year letterwinner in baseball and ice hockey, batting .357 with 40 hits, 10 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 33 RBI as senior, earning First-team all-league, first-team all-area and first-team all-district honors.
