Kaminski joins Traverse City after splitting time with three teams during 2012, amassing an overall record of 3-3 with seven saves and a 5.92 ERA. He began the season with the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the American Association going 1-1 in seven games. From there he joined the London Rippers, going 2-0 with an ERA of 4.00. The righty then signed on with the Road Warriors and worked as the Warriors closer, going 0-2, saving seven of the Road Warriors nine wins. His ERA of 6.75 with the Warriors is misleading as six of the runs came in his final outing of the season. Taking that game out of the mix, he had an ERA of 2.45 and allowed just one run in an 11-game stretch from July 26 through August 25.
Kaminski’s professional career came on the heels of a three-year stint at Jacksonville University (Atlantic Sun – NCAA D-I). As a sophomore and a junior he combined to go 10-6 with 15 saves and a 2.49 ERA while helping to lead the Dolphins to the 2009 CWS Regionals.
