SPRING 2013: As of May 6th, Danny has appeared in 26 games (starting 20) as a freshman at San Diego State. He’s carrying a .220 batting average with 13 runs scored and 6 RBI in 82 plate appearances. He has earned 8 walks and struck out 11 times.
HIGH SCHOOL: During Sheehan’s high school sports career, he played both football and baseball. He was well known for his prowess on the football field as a talented quarterback, wide receiver, and place kicker. But baseball was his passion. He played second base and was the leadoff hitter for the Huskies’ strong baseball program.
