Limonta begins the 2013 season in York after joining the Revs in August of last season. The Havana, Cuba native played mostly first base, batting .277 in 39 games with York. It was a nearly identical mark to his .279 average with Triple-A Tacoma where he started the season, and in between, Limonta tore up Mexican League pitching with a .384 average during a stint with Mexico City. The beginning of last year marked his seventh season in the Seattle Mariners organization, having spent his entire previous career with the club that drafted him in 2006. Limonta is a career .301 hitter, and batted .319 for Tacoma in 2011, ranking ninth in the Pacific Coast League that year.
