Nick Cicio came to Rockford after the 2012 season as part of an earlier trade that sent Javier Herrera to Southern Illinois.

Cicio began his professional career in the Gulf Coast League's Twins (rookie class) in 2011.

Last season, Cicio started the season with Washington and after 22 appearances with the Wild Things, ended up with the Southern Illinois Miners, where he won the Frontier League Championship.

Cicio, a reliever, has a career 2.71 ERA.
