Sean Buller didn’t want any more days off. After missing six years with a shoulder injury he suffered in 2001 that doctors said he’d never recover from, Buller returned to professional baseball with the Armada in 2007. In 2008, he served as bullpen coach for Steve Yeager’s crew and remains in the position under Templeton this season. Sean began his pro career in 1998 as a member of Jamestown Jammers (DET) of the New York-Penn League (A-). The Long Beach native threw a no-hitter in his first start for West Michigan in the Midwest Leage (A) in 1999, and by 2001 he reached the Toledo Mudhens (AAA) as one of the top pitching prospects in the Tigers system before injuring his shoulder. A starter early in his career, Buller now does his best work out of the bullpen.
