Taylor was 5-2 with a 4.37 ERA for the Beavers in 2012. Starr was recently granted a medical hardship and another year of eligibility. He missed virtually the entire 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons while recovering from two Tommy John surgeries and another operation on his ulnar nerve.
A native of Longview, Wash., and a graduate of Kelso High School, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound righthander first played for the Knights on their 2008 West Coast League championship team. He was a first-team West Coast League all-star and went 1-2, with a 2.49 ERA, a then team-record 10 saves, and 28 strikeouts in 25.1 innings over 21 appearances.
He was a 37th-round selection in the 2011 MLB Draft by Cleveland but did not sign.
