Mitch returns to the Knights for his third season. He was 3-4, 3.96 as a starter-reliever at UC Riverside in 2012, with 61 strikeouts in 50 innings.

Mitch was an honorable-mention WCL all-star in 2010, when he had eight saves and a 1.38 ERA as the Knights' closer. He was 1-1, 3.22 for the Knights in 2011, with two saves.

Mitch was a four-year all-star at Patriot High School in Mira Loma, and was the 2009 Sunkist League and Riverside County MVP. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins, but did not sign.
