A semifinalist for the Tino Martinez Award, Allison led the nation with 22 homers in 2012, which ranks fifth on the league’s single-season charts. He was also the nation’s leader with 163 total bases, while ranking fifth with 68 RBI. Allison finished in the top 20 in the nation in hits and runs, while ranking 32nd with 18 doubles. Allison ranked second on the team with his .352 batting average. He had a 22-game hitting streak late in the season, and reached base safely in the final 46 contests of the year. Allison had 25 multi-hit games, while driving in multiple runs 17 times. He hit multiple homers four times in 2012. The righty started every game in his four-year career at Wingate, finishing as the league’s all-time leader in career doubles, while ranking fourth in the SAC in career runs and total bases, seventh in hits and homers and ninth in RBI.
