Joining fellow Binghamton Bearcats Daniel Nevares and Jack Rogalla on the Will County CrackerJacks for the 2012 season is outfielder Shaun McGraw. A native of Brewerton, N.Y., McGraw signed with Will County on Sept. 29, 2011.
In 2012, McGraw posted 11 hits and knocked home five runs for Binghamton in his 18 appearances. He made 11 starts for the Bearcats during his sophomore season, drew one walk, had three HBPs and made 11 putouts in the field.
As a freshman in 2011, McGraw appeared in 19 games and made 12 starts in the outfield. He finished the season with nine hits and four RBIs, including a 2-for-3 performance that featured a double and two RBIs in an April 12, 2011 game against Niagara University. During the summer of 2011, McGraw was selected to the New York Collegiate Baseball League All-Star team.
McGraw attended Christian Brothers Academy High School, where he was a three-year letterwinner. In addition, McGraw received the program’s Sportsmanship Award, was a three-time All-League selection, a two-time All-Central New York selection and an All-State selection as a senior in 2010. During his tenure at Christian Brothers Academy, his team won three league championships, one sectional title and made an appearance in the New York State Semifinals.
McGraw is a Human Development major at Binghamton University. He is the son of Owen and Denise McGraw.
