Morgan hit .243 with 17 RBI in his sophomore effort during the 2012 season. As a freshman Morgan hit .239 with 13 doubles and 24 RBI. The infielder posted 14 multi-hit games and three games with multiple RBI as a freshman last season.
Prior to GSU: At Greenbrier High School Morgan was a four year varsity baseball participant. He helped the Wolves to the 2007 state championship and also played football.
