Trevino was a force in the Oral Roberts lineup his first season of collegiate baseball in 2012. This year he started all 63 games for the Golden Eagles, hitting an impressive .317 with 13 home runs and 57 RBIs. His potent ability at the plate has already established him as one of the most dangerous offensive threats of the Golden Eagles. Prior to arriving at ORU, Trevino led John Paul II high school to consecutive state titles in his junior and senior years. He was a two-time district MVP and tied the Texas state home run record his senior year in 2011 with 25 home runs.
