Hailing from Arvada, CO, Campbell is a member of the University of New Mexico Lobos. In 2011, he was second on the Lobos with a .301 batting average in his first year on the team. His five home runs and .448 slugging percentage were also second on the team. While only starting three of the Lobos' first 12games, Campbell started every game but one from Mar. 30 until the end of the season. He had a 15-game hitting streak from Apr. 1 through Apr. 29 with an average of .322 Born August 20, 1989 in Arvada, CO to Cindy Campbell and has three siblings Nate, Chase and Chad.
