Suiter comes to the Huskies from Punahoe High School in Hawaii, where he lettered four years. He was a member of three consecutive Hawaii state championship teams. Suiter was named Hawaii Gatorade Player of the Year following his junior season, in which he batted .533 with a .750 slugging percentage and 13 stolen bases. Suiter was a three-time all-state and first team All-Interscholastic League of Hawaii selection. He was also selected Louisville Slugger Player of the Year in Hawaii in 2010. He played for the Cincinnati Reds Area Code Team and was selected to the Hawaii state tournament all-tournament team three times. He played for the Mat-su Miners in the Alaskan Baseball League in the summer following his senior year.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Max and Mary Suiter. Drafted in the 37th round of the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft by the Cincinnati Reds. Has one brother, Matthew.
