Beau is a four-year letterman at Portland who hit .234, with a homer and 12 RBIs, in 2012.

He received a medical hardship and an extra season of eligibility after missing most of the 2011 campaign with an arm injury. He had two homers and seven RBIs in 12 games before being sidelined.

In 2010, Beau hit .316 (56-for-177) with seven home runs and team-high 45 RBIs. A finance major, he also made the West Coast Conference all-academic team.

In 2009, Beau hit .267 (35-for-131), scored 22 runs, knocked in 17, with 10 doubles and a home run.

Beau named all-county and All-Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League as both a junior in 2007 and a senior in 2008 at Aptos High. He also was named to the All-Central Coast Section Team in 2007 and 2008 and was named to the All-Bay Area Team by ESPN Rise Magazine.

He was the Apros MVP in 2008 and team co-captain in 2007 and 2008, and helped the Mariners win two straight league titles (2007-2008) and reach a No. 11 national ranking. He  led the league in hitting as a junior with a .524 batting average, and hit .375 as a senior with three home runs, 24 RBI’s and five doubles.
