Coach Ryan Parker begins his fifth year with the Kitsap BlueJackets organization in 2012, after having served as the Assistant Head Coach for the team during the 2010 and 2011 campaigns.  In 2012, Coach Parker takes the reigns as in his first year as the BlueJackets Head Coach … Coach Parker is a native of Bremerton and completed his sixth season as the Head Baseball Coach of Bremerton’s Olympic College in 2012, where he also coached third base for the Rangers this season … Parker played varsity baseball at Bremerton High School under coach Mike McKnight and was a right-handed pitcher earning all-state honors his senior year in 1999 … Parker’s college playing experience included Olympic College (1998 – 2000) and York College (York, Neb.), where he was a member of the Panthers squad (2000 – 2002).  During the summer months he played in the Pacific International League with the Seattle Cruisers, winning the Unsung Hero Award in 1998 … He began his coaching career in 2000 as the head coach of the Bremerton Senior Legion, and again in 2001.  Parker moved to the Seattle Rainiers Baseball Club for the 2003, 2004 and 2005 seasons.  He also coached the Cobb baseball team in 2002.  In all, he led four teams to post-season tournaments, which include: Cobb – AAU National Tournament, Seattle Rainiers –CABA World Series (2003), USABF World Series (2004), AAU National Tournament (2005) … Prior to returning to Olympic College, Parker served as the York College pitching coach for the 2003 and 2004 seasons, followed by an assistant coaching stint at West Seattle High School in 2005 … Parker earned his Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from York College in 2003 … Parker is a current member of the ABCA … Ryan and his fiancé, Kim, currently live in Silverdale, WA with their children Blake, Ashton, and Taylor.
