Last summer Kish played for the Cotuit Ketleers in the Cape Cod League. Kish did not record a decision in six appearances, including one start. In over 10 innings Kish had six strikeouts, five walks and an ERA of 4.50.
Kish topped his summer performance in 2012 with the Florida Gators, striking out 21 in 20.2 innings of work and posting a 0.87 era in 8 appearances. He also held hitters to a .167 batting average and only 2 extra base hits in 72 at-bats, which led his team.
