Kevin Asselin is a 6-1, 180 lb. pitcher from Woodside, CA. Before being drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 30th round in 2008, he attended and played for Sonoma State University. From 2008-2009, he played for the White Sox organization with their Rookie Leage affiliate Bristol, Single-A affiliate Kannapolis, Single-A affiliate Winston-Salem, and their Triple-A affiliate Charlotte. In 2010, he played in the Frontier League with Oakland County and last season, he signed and played with the Freedom. This will be his second year with the Freedom.
